Britney Spears has clarified her new tattoo was unrelated to Justin Timberlake.
After studies arose connecting one of many Maintain Me Nearer singer’s new tattoos to a current Instagram put up she wrote about her ex Justin Timberlake, Britney shut down rumours the put up and the tattoo have been associated.
The pop diva and former boybander met whereas filming The Mickey Mouse Membership within the early Nineties. The pair revealed their relationship in 1999. Three years later, Spears and Timberlake break up. It was later revealed she had been untrue to him.
On Tuesday, Spears took to social media and recalled the occasions she and Justin would play basketball collectively.
“After we used to shoot hoops TOGETHER,” Britney had written of Justin on Instagram, captioning a since-deleted photograph of the pair. “That’s when miracles occurred.”
On her tattoo, the singer informed followers, “Can’t present it as a result of it sucks.”
Britney later took to her Instagram Story refuting studies which had linked the 2 posts, saying, “Simply to make clear… my tattoo had nothing to do with an ex prior to now.”
She continued, “I merely did it as a result of I needed to!!! The pic with my ex is a time the place there was much less confusion on what it meant to be collectively.
“It’s what it’s.”
