Beyoncé has shared a message for her “beloved queen” Tina Turner, who died Wednesday (Could 24) at age 83.
“My beloved queen. I like you endlessly,” Beyoncé’s message, posted on her web site, started. “I’m so grateful on your inspiration, and all of the methods you’ve gotten paved the best way. You’re energy and resilience. You’re the epitome of energy and fervour. We’re all so lucky to have witnessed your kindness and exquisite spirit that can ceaselessly stay. Thanks for all you’ve gotten completed.”
Along with serving as an inspiration to Beyoncé, Turner additionally collaborated with the singer on the fiftieth annual Grammy Awards in 2008. The pair teamed up for a high-energy, strutting model of “Proud Mary,” Ike & Tina Turner’s 1971 cowl of the Creedence Clearwater Revival basic.
