Ryan Beatty Announces New Album ‘Calico,’ Shares New Single ‘Ribbons’ – Rolling Stone

Dreaming of David, the album Ryan Beatty launched within the early weeks of 2020, featured a daring declaration on the only “Patchwork,” the place he promised: “This isn’t my final masterpiece/I’m Michelangelo.” Three years later, the 27-year-old singer and songwriter is following by on his phrase. Recorded between Valentine Recording Studios and Rick Rubin’s Shangri-La, Calico options contributions from Dylan Day, Matt Chamberlain, Sam Gendal, Rob Moose, and Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon.

“I’ll save my monologue for an additional day,” Beatty wrote on Instagram. “However for now it is best to know that I’m smiling.”
